GDPR

As of May 25, 2018, the new Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016, on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC, has entered into force.
These provisions establish rules that are consistent across the entire European Economic Area regarding the processing of personal data, the associated rights and obligations, and the security measures for data processing.

  1. The Data Controller of your personal data is QUALIPOL Association of Metal Surface Treatment Companies, with its registered office in Warsaw (04-512) at ul. Sępia 22, entered in the Register of Entrepreneurs maintained by the District Court for the Capital City of Warsaw, 14th Commercial Division, under KRS number 0000590578.

  1. The Data Controller has not appointed a data protection officer within the organization.
  2. Your personal data will be processed for the following purposes:
    • the implementation of the QUALIPOL Association’s statutory tasks
    • the purposes of entering into and performing a contract for the sale of products (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR)
    • to comply with a legal obligation to which the controller is subject (Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR)
    • providing product and technical advice (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR)
    • research on preferences regarding demand for our products (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR)
    • surveys on satisfaction with our services and our products (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR)
    • direct marketing (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR);
  1. The recipients of your personal data may include the following entities:
    • authorized under applicable law
    • our domestic and international partners
    • companies we partner with for product and technical consulting
    • companies providing the following services
      • in the area of mail and parcel delivery
      • banking
      • accounting and financial
      • law firms and debt collection agencies
      • IT
  1. You have the right at any time to request further information and a copy of the personal data transferred to a third country by sending a request to the data protection officer;
  1. Your personal data will be stored for the following periods of time for the following purposes:
    • the performance of sales contracts until their termination or expiration, in accordance with Section 70(1) of the Tax Ordinance, which requires that documentation be retained for a period of 6 years
    • asserting claims and warranties until the expiration of their statute of limitations;
    • technical consulting, preference and satisfaction surveys, and direct marketing of products until the contract expires, provided that such processing is in the legitimate interest of the QUALIPOL Association, or until an objection is raised.
  1. You have the right to access your personal data, as well as the right to rectify it, restrict its processing, the right to data portability, the right to erasure, the right to object, and the right to withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of your consent prior to its withdrawal;
  2. You have the right to file a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation of April 27, 2016;
  1. You have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes, including profiling.
  2. Providing your personal data is necessary to obtain membership in the QUALIPOL Association and to enter into a purchase agreement. You are required to provide the necessary personal data; failure to do so will result in your inability to obtain membership in the QUALIPOL Association and to enter into a purchase agreement.
